Brand
LLiM (Life Liveth in Me, Life Liveth) is a vivid tapestry of culture and emotion—where the warmth and rhythm of Ghanaian heritage intertwine with the quiet grace of Western elegance, inviting you into a world alive with colour, story, and soul.
It is said (proverb) in Ghanaian culture that when you use a leopard’s skin upon which to practice leatherwork, you have mastered your trade.
Life Liveth in Me is a design/artistic brand dedicated to creating novel quality products, an odyssey into a world of visual journeys where artistry and character likewise demonstrate mastery of designs influenced by the sophisticated details of African adages, amalgamated with Western Culture. It is the “gameo” – “gem” – “marriage”, the fusion of two distinct elements into one.
At Life Liveth in Me, we purely aim to provide high-quality, handmade scarves and textiles to fashion-conscious customers who value artisanal craftsmanship and sustainable production practices. We will focus on creating unique and stylish designs using premium materials, such as silk, cashmere, and wool, that reflect the beauty and diversity of cultures from around the world.
This idiosyncratic maximalist aesthetic ranges from Scarves, Textile Designs, Home décor, fashion, furniture, Wallpaper Patterns, Upholstery, Double-Sided Screens, Carpet, Textile Artwork, and so much.
All the motifs and details are first-hand drawn, and then carefully combined with particular colours to give them life and to encourage their interpretation as stories. The graphic elements in the pieces are inspired by contrasts and fusions between both cultures, and we attempt to transform “the beauty, magnificence and inner stories that lie deep within us” into textile pieces.
The design patterns do not only speak a beautiful language of reinvention and rebirth to a form of decoration that could be printed or deployed on any surface, but are also enriched with moral idioms and folklore that arouse the value and worth in each one through our contribution to humanity.
To own a Life Liveth in Me scarf is like owning a piece of escapism, precious gems on black velvet, picturesqueness, artistry, elegance, proverb, parable, storytelling, and life rarity cast on silk.
All designs are done in Toronto, Canada and produced in Canada, England, U. K., and Asia
